How to Install
Here are the steps to copy a Takas Classified site to your hosting installation
Before we start lets define a few things for this example:
1. The hosted version address we will refer to as: http://takas.tec-news.com (This is the web address of the hosted Takas Classified site)
2. The local version address we will refer to as: http://localhost/testsite or http://www.yourdomain.com/testsite (This is the web address of the host folder you want to transfer your site to)
STEP 1:
Copy your files to your webhost to your local folder.
STEP 2:
Log into your hosting phpmyadmin. To create a new database, import the sql files
Create new database – takas and import – takas.sql
(Database into it by selecting the import tab and uploading your file (sql has in DB_SQL folder)
STEP 3:
Once Uploaded you want to modify the database configuration php file.
application -> config -> database.php
