Extension Overview

When you wish to build a website, the first thing you need to do is book a domain and hosting service provider. Once you have that in place you can start with your promotional activities and have a “coming soon” page on your website’s home/landing page until you are ready to launch. This extension will help the administrator to set a “coming soon” page for the website, including various options like heading, content, text, end date for the maintenance, layout, images or video as background of the page etc.

It might happen that the website is ready but you need to do some maintenance work, updates, or changes within the existing system, in such scenarios you can use coming soon page with a countdown that shows every visitor the remaining day(s), hour(s), minute(s) and second(s) before the website will be launched or relaunched.

When the administrator enables “coming soon mode” using this extension, the website will be in maintenance mode so visitors cannot access any page of the website. This extension also provides option to include white list ip(s) so that from specified ip(s), website can be accessed normally without maintenance mode.

General Features:

• Create custom coming soon page for shop, including background image, background slideshow or video as background.
• Show count down timer by specifying “end date” of this coming soon mode.
• Specify whitelist IPs, so shop (front-end as well as the back-end) can be accessed from giving IPs.
• Different layout options for coming soon pages.
• The extension comes with four different layouts.
• Heading and content text can be set from admin panel.
• The visitor can subscribe to newsletter from coming soon page.
