Introduction:

I was always amazed by the overall look and feel of Limbo the game and Invention of Love so I decided to give myself a try with this silhouette style animation. Most of the elements you see are made and animated directly inside of After Effects while other, like clouds and trees, are captured with my Canon DSLR to keep them more realistic. Optical Flares and some Particular elements are prerendered so basically you don’t need any third party plugins. If you want to add more static objects and text layers in the foreground there is a helpful preset and PDF tutorial to guide you.
